French Courtyard Inspired Wedding With 20 Guests
Creamy garden roses, organically climbing greenery, lavender silk and sage green hues… is there anything this French courtyard inspired wedding doesn’t sweep us off our feet with? Kristine and Sherman’s wedding may not have looked exactly how they pictured, but after a pandemic disrupted their original plans, they pivoted to an intimate celebration in the dreamiest of settings because love was certainly not cancelled. Amidst the timeless and elegant ceremony backdrop designed by Paradise Events, this gallery features such other tasteful details as calligraphed paperie with illustrated vows, a corgi ring bearer, regal dining chairs and romantic chandeliers. Join us as we peruse their dreamy images from Niki Xie Photography below, and leave a comment with your favorite detail!
From the Planner & Designer, Paradise Events: Kristine and Sherman were originally going to having their destination wedding in Hawaii, but due to the Covid-19, they decided to have a micro wedding ceremony with 20 of their closest immediate family and friends at Brix and Mortar Restaurant in downtown Vancouver.
Liting from Paradise Events provided the wedding design, décor, and floral with a French Courtyard approach. The black iron chandelier was decorated with lush greenery, and the oak Louis chairs were brought in to showcase the French Courtyard theme. Meanwhile, the aisle was decorated with gold lanterns and silver cast iron vases with olive branches, lots of greenery, and some flowers. The altar was decorated with more vines on the wall, creating an open arch. Lastly, we covered the existing black wall with champagne draping and more vines to make the design more cohesive.
Momo Chen Cake Designed a show stunner of a wedding cake. The stationery from Making Memories with Stationaries featured a modern fine art vibe with Bride’s favorite color: sage green. Their little puppy Taro was the ring bearer. The guests enjoyed some afternoon tea after the ceremony. Everyone teared up when the Bride’s Dad gave the speech. After the afternoon tea, guests took home macarons as wedding favors.
“Needless to say we were blown away when we arrived at the venue that day. Liting went above and beyond all our expectations and transformed the space into the most beautiful french courtyard ever. All of our guests complimented the decor and even wanted to book the same venue for their future wedding because of this!”
