For the love of Poppies Wedding Inspiration
Today we’re feeling fresh, bright and all around whimsical due to this poppies wedding inspiration at an art gallery. Bold shades of peach and tangerine dance with marigolds and icy blues in the scene, and we’re on Cloud 9 just imagining the wispy skirt of that DRESS. So much life in this modern take on a flower field, and we hope it gives your mid-week some serious color.
Jessica Imrie Photography captures more than a feeling in the images you’re about to see. Don’t miss the details in the fashion, decor and of course, that cake!
Confetti and Co. couldn’t have chosen a more complementary palette. We’re obsessed with the way every design detail works together so effortlessly.
Like this watercolor invitation suite from Flourish and Quill Paper Co.. With floral lining and hand drawn illustrations, it’s simply marvelous, darling!
The Girl Floral was in her element here, and boy, are we blessed to witness. Height and shape, baby!
Simply Beautiful Decor and ABC Party Time came together with lucite chiavari chairs, icy blue linens and eclectic vintage tableware. So we owe them a bit of a standing ovation.
A loose twisted updo from Coccola Beauty is met with a fresh glow from Costa Chic Makeup By Missy. The result? Just peachy!
She’s wowing us in this hand-stitched gown from The Modern Bride that’s both flirty and fabulous. And how debonair is he in his black tux from Moores Clothing?
These vibrant tapers from Yummi Candles are the cutest!
From the stylist, Kendra of Confetti and Co.: As we patiently (not so patiently) waited for spring to arrive I wanted to design a shoot that embodied both the end of winter and the beginning of spring. There is something so magical about the change of seasons and I wanted to capture that brief moment where the ground is freshly thawed and new life is springing up.
Sugar, we’re going down. Because this cake from Lucia’s Vegan Catering has left us defenseless.
We chose shades of icy blue to represent the cold and frozen ground, while the bright pops of color represented the new life and fresh season ahead. We knew we wanted the shoot to be modern and fresh, and The Art Gallery of Hamilton provided the perfect backdrop. It is my hope to inspire couples to get creative with their color palettes! You can choose bold colors and still get a beautiful result!
