Roaring Romance Wedding Inspiration
Old Hollywood will never lose its allure to us. When we see shoots like this one from Julie Wilhite Photography and Stratford Events, it makes it just a bit easier to see why Hollywood romance will never go out of style. Lux + love, what else can a girl ask for?
From the photographer, Julie Wilhite: It all started with the location, MAX’s Underground. The venue has a chic warehouse feel full of exposed brick- very speakeasy. The ladies from Austin Bella Bridesmaid and I spent an entire afternoon choosing gowns and brainstorming color palettes. Jewel tones of sapphire, ruby, and emerald were chosen for their richness and accented with gold and mercury glass for a timeless touch. Local Austin designer, Jessica Ciarla, provided a stunning bridal gown dripping with effortless romance. Paired with jewelry and a head piece, it’s a look that brides everywhere will be swooning over. The flawless makeup and hairstyles reflected the roaring twenties perfectly, while the groom looked absolutely regal in his attire.
All of the vendors that participated in the décor of the photo shoot brought a unique element to the overall design. The flowers were a mixture of natural textures and bold, bright blooms that look lovely adorning one of a kind antique pieces. The detailed invitation suite set the tone complete with table signs and escort cards to match. The specialty linens and exquisite settings brought color and style to the dinner table. Last but not least, the glamorous photo backdrop crafted of black feathers and emerald sequins was perfect for an exquisite night of lasting memories.
