Eclectic LA Wedding with Pomegranate and Caribbean Blue Hues
Unforgettable… that’s what this eclectic LA wedding with a pomegranate and Caribbean blue color palette is! We don’t want to be dramatic but the ombre fusion of oranges and pinks in the flowers from Best Day Ever practically makes us sing, and you will be wanting to pin every single image from Gregory Ross. We love the global details Hannah + Jeremy incorporated to pay homage to their passion for travel and adventure, and guys, their reception has given us major goosebumps. Farm tables, string lights, bistro chairs and gauzy table runners galore. Add velvet turquoise napkins, and we are shook!
From the bride: Jeremy and I met and fell in love is Los Angeles. We wouldn’t have imagined our wedding anywhere else, but we are total travel enthusiasts and wanted our wanderlust to be reflected in the decor and feel of our special day too. Our venue provided a great base to build upon from a design perspective, with eclectic, colorful and “outside the box” furnishings (including a bunch of exotic taxidermy) and a beautiful outdoor space with sweeping views of the Downtown LA skyline, the Hollywood sign, and Griffith Park. The venue also had a ton of bougainvillea (my favorite flower), which inspired a lot of the design choices. I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking at all the global locales where the flowers grew and used these images to influence everything from the stationery to the tables and chairs and even my wedding dress. To personalize our wedding, we added little touches that we felt spoke about us as a couple and where we each came from, from a custom-designed and fabricated family tree to a “photo walk” with pictures of each of us from infancy to present day. Jeremy and I love exploring new restaurants, wineries, and breweries, so we had a blast curating the drink and food menu. Our guests definitely enjoyed the craft beer tasting bar with selections chosen by Jeremy. We also had a pretty epic dessert bar, with my all-time favorite, Italian doughnuts. I think that all of the thought that we put into the little details really paid off, and while the day flew by, it was truly an unforgettable experience that had our fingerprints all over it.
