Intimate Seattle Wedding With Waterfront Views
Now, now, this is what we’re talking about, an intimate Seattle wedding with Waterfront views! Kate + Devang’s wedding day is chock-full of lovely details that are sure to be the talk of the town for days. A classy white + greenery spilling all over, we can’t help but stare with amazement. And what caught our hearts the most is their wedding portraits with boats, yachts, fall colored leaves, and sunshine serving as the perfect backgrounds Seattle has to offer.
Katie Parra Photography made sure we don’t miss a thing on this intimate Seattle wedding. She’s an ace at capturing anything and everything and we’re not even complaining! And the design aspect, Simply by Tamara Nicole has won our hearts for putting up a Royal wedding in Seattle. Bravo!
From the designer, Tamara Nicole: Kate and Devang’s early Fall Weeding was held at one of Seattle’s most picturesque venues with the BEST waterfront view, The Admiral’s House. I love an intimate wedding, and they had around 50 guests come from all over the country to enjoy their Pacific Northwest Wedding. September is such a pretty month here in Seattle. Guests had views of the changing leaves on trees nearby and were able to see our sunny gorgeous days while visiting. As the night progressed, guests were given pashminas to keep them warm.
Kate and Devang’s inspiration was drawn from Royal Weddings, as well as George Clooney’s wedding. Kate is a very classy lady, so it totally matched her and Devang’s personalities to go with a gorgeous classic white and greenery wedding. They are both into art (Devang for his career) so there were some fun art touches throughout their wedding. They had a canvas that Devang painted, for the guests to sign as their “guestbook”. The easels for the wedding were actual real painting easels from Devang’s studio. Kate painted her own table numbers on small canvases which we placed on small easels on each table.
Gather Design Company created a gorgeous wood and greenery arch with asymmetrical flowers, adorned with lanterns. The greenery garlands and bistro lights strung throughout the tent was so pretty yet classic and glowed as the sun went down. There were also candles and globes hanging from the trees close by.
The cake by Honey Crumb Cake Studio was beautiful and classy, just white with texture, adorned with some pretty white flowers. Other desserts were served to the guests by City Catering.
Some fun activities for the guests: we found some cute small tic tac toe bags from Etsy to add to the cocktail tables. There was also an oyster bar to enjoy during cocktail hour, as well as some Polaroid cameras around the venue.

We might add this cute little tic tac toe to our list of wedding entertainment ideas! Yep.
