From the planner + designer, Events By Sorrell: On a bright and brimming August day at the heavenly Lakefalls Lodge in Stoddard, NH, Edith and William took their vows and rejoiced in an agreement to be there for one another until the end of time. The cool breeze of the morning was a tantalizing symbol of the excitement in the air on that gorgeous New Hampshire day. In a gorgeous dress from Needle and Thread London, Edith graced the fields of green with a radiant smile, dripping with flowers and a heart full of love.

William’s pup, Freya, frolicked around the happy couple as they posed (eager to make it into a few shots herself). Edith had always wanted a baby blue Chevy convertible since she was a boy, and Willliam surprised her with one on their special day — she was unbelievably excited. William insisted on having a canoe that they could go for a ride in; one of their first dates was a day at the lake on a canoe, and that was the day that William decided he was in love with Edith.

The delectable desserts from Eat More Cake and Graceful Baking added a deliciously sweet touch to the celebration, and the tableware from the lovely New York designers at Sir/Madam, Hawkins NY, and Twig NY made the tables nearly as gorgeous as the bride and groom themselves. The fabulous floral designs and arrangements were from New Hampshire’s own Clementina Floral Co. The event was a celebration of love and unity as meaningful as could be, and the memories made on that pristine summer day will sustain all those in attendance for a lifetime.
