How to Create a Woodsy Summer Tablescape with Jamali Garden
With summer parties booking up our calendars, we thought no better time to share some easy tablescape inspiration with global influence and greenery abounding. We partnered with NYC household name, Jamali Garden, to showcase a few of their most popular pieces (lookin’ at you, bronze lanterns!), and we’re in love with the end result. There’s lightness, depth and mossy colors all around, which for us, translates the perfect neutral setting for everything from dinner parties to bridal showers to wedding receptions.
The simple aesthetic allows it to tell a woodsy, indoor al fresco story without being overly themed, and the best part is you can use these elements time and time again. Even the flowers! There’s a reason silk is king.
Jamali Garden is a class A source for tablescape design with their wide collection of garden and home accents. Their brick + mortar store in New York is a two-story wonder to behold, but if you prefer to get lost in your virtual shopping cart (because sometimes it softens the blow when you can’t see the items you’re piling in), their online shop will be totally up your alley.
DIY Summer Wedding Centerpiece
That centerpiece was a quick DIY project! Using this potted fern in a cement bowl, I added two white anthuriums and two garden roses, making for an easy centerpiece that can be brought outside in the summer without the worry of wilting.

To pull this look together, we scattered 6 crystal block taper candle holders (an assortment of 5″ tall and 2″ tall) along the table interspersed with these mini milk bottle vases. At each place setting, we used a unique horn bowl, which complemented the bronze lanterns in the center.
To build on the centerpiece above and make it into a bouquet, we added a peach anthurium a few more ferns + extra rose.
The full droopy garland is actually 7 of these asparagus ferns tied together!
As you gear up for all your summer entertaining, let this palette inspire your own canvas. There’s no wrong answer, so choose the pieces that make you smile. We’d love to see what you create!
