French Country Estate Wedding With Chic, Garden-Style Decor
Lorraine may be famous for its quiches, madeleines and delicious macarons, but we have a feeling the real wow factor lies in its historic chateaus, villas and French country estates that play host to real weddings every year. Destination planner and Ruffled Vendor conveniently based in France, Marie Chicchirichi brought Charles and Margaux’s chic garden vision to life through an open air ceremony that circled the couple as they committed their lives to one another, followed by a candlelit dinner with delicate bunny tail fleurs at each place setting. Lettre à Elise‘s signature organic style is a dream within a dream throughout the day. You won’t want to miss the canopy of lush greenery she hung romantically above the tables! Julia Rapp captured the laughter, the tears and the inimitable pastel garden designs in this French country estate wedding that will make you a certified Francophile in no time!
From the Photographer, Julia Rapp: Margaux and Charles are such a fresh and passionate couple, they desired a wedding that related to them perfectly – a lot of lush greenery, pastel tones and French chic style with a touch of modernity that Marie Chicchirichi, the wedding planner, reflected so greatly.
From the Planner & Designer, Marie Chicchirichi: We designed this beautiful ‘chic garden’ decor that was nicely matching with the venue, that was what our couple desired. The whole color palette is soft and luminous, with undertones of powder pink, light peach, white and cream. All with a lot of lush greenery and luxury foliage. The open-air ceremony took place in the spacious park of the Chateau, facing the pond bordered by majestic trees. To enhace the intimate athmosphere of the ceremony, the chairs have been installed in a circle on each side of the large Medici cup. The lush floral decoration perfectly executed by Elise brings that romantic finishing touch.
For the reception and the dinner, the colors and whole atmosphere remains in this chic and warm spirit that represent so well our clients. The funny moment that our talented floral designer Elise has completely braved her fear of heights to create that beautiful lush greenery upper installation above the main table, so the bride and groom could enjoyed that inside garden feel during the whole reception. It was truly magical and their amazed happy eyes were worth all the effort million times.
Isn’t this a fairytale level of romance? Margaux and Charles’ French country estate wedding has us ready to book the next flight to Lorraine. Til then, we’ll just have to vicariously live through more destination weddings…like this Loire Valley soiree inspired by Marie Antoinette. Explore it with us next!
