Grandmillenial Chic Wedding With Chintz, Wisteria and A Cute Bridal Headband
I double dog dare you not to fall head over heels for this grandmillenial chic wedding at an oceanfront resort. Bridgerton has been a muse for many brides in the past year, but none have pulled it off the Regency era meets modern times quite like this. A thick floral appliqué headband sits atop Brittany’s head from the hydrangea, wisteria and tulip adorned ceremony to the vintage furniture filled reception. All these winning details were pulled together by Planner Best Bride who put the talents of Southern California’s stars on center stage. Butterfly Floral Design infused all blooms with a pastel palette that we can only describe as heavenly, as Sanaz Photography captured all the giddy moments on sun-kissed film. See the gallery worth burning for below!
Brittany and Ethan brought Old English garden vibes into their wedding day as a nod to the bride’s love of Bridgerton, and let’s just say we’re obsessed! For a bride that loves Bridgerton, there’s nothing more fitting than a tiara-like headpiece in lieu of a veil! Their vintage velvet chairs in a plethora of pastel tones were apropos for a whimsical, Alice in Wonderland-esque ceremony setting. Colorful cotton candy florals were sprawling throughout every nook and cranny of the entire day, and their reception decor was the epitome of grandmillennial chic! Picture vintage china place settings, crystal glassware, and tufted setees sprinkled throughout the lounge vignettes. This wedding may feel like it’s out of a different century, but the design details are as fresh as ever!
From the Planner, Best Bride: Taking place at the beautiful Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, CA, this coastal wedding had a fairytale ending that was inspired by royal history. The stunning details featured a perfect blend of historic charm and romance. The florals were lush and colorful, and swayed whimsically against the endless blue ocean as the backdrop. The aisle was lined with gorgeous blues, lavenders and pink roses. Guests got comfortable on the mix-and-matched vintage furniture that truly pulled everything together. Once the sun had set, the party had started! The bride, groom and guests made their way to the dance floor where they danced under the stars on a Monet-inspired dance floor. Guests were wined and dined in style with a custom tablescape featuring romantic tall blue candlesticks, beautiful personalized calligraphed menus and soft colored florals that complimented this special summer night.
The grandmillenial chic energy is strong in the wedding world today, and Brittany & Ethan’s summer garden nuptials are a perfect example of why! More Bridgerton wedding vibes this way next.
