A Wild Flower Aisle Led To The Table For This Citrusy Wedding
Consider us officially smitten with the wild, winding flower aisle look after seeing this colorful summer wedding at one of Texas’ most famous venues. Inspired by the designer’s late friend, this wedding story was infused with elements of peace, happiness and lighter-than-air vibes all around. Traveling Shoots With Taylor couldn’t have captured a vision of Heaven any more perfectly. Soft tones of celadon blended with creamy, lemony florals from Event Stems Florist… not to mention design accents sprinkled directly from a citrus rainbow in grapefruit, orange and berry hues. Lauren Baker Photography captured the floral clouds and modern wedding fashion oh-so-effortlessly, and we feel honored to be sharing this exquisite gallery with you today!
From the Photographer, Lauren Baker Photography: This romantic wedding editorial at The White Sparrow Barn in Dallas, Texas was ethereal, whimsical, and healing. The inspiration for the shoot was a way for Taylor, our planner and designer, to heal from the passing of her dear friend and creative supporter. She wondered, “What would heaven look like?” The design of this shoot was her answer.
The florals from Event Stems Floral were selected with a carefree and comforting aesthetic in mind. We are told that there’s no pain in heaven and the floral design captures that peace perfectly.
Kyri’s plum suit from Don Morphy harmoniously played off of the floral colors, giving the shoot a delightfully calm cohesion. Maddi’s dress and veil took the design cohesion a bit further, incorporating floral details in the dress and veil’s tulle.
The entire editorial was filled with peace, love, and personal healing. Even though I didn’t know Taylor’s friend personally, I could tell how loved she was and how much she inspired Taylor’s work. I have no doubt that she was watching us work during the shoot and was filled with love!
The dried grasses making up the wild, winding flower aisle are everything! You can hardly expect us to turn away whenever we see them. Takes us back to this delightful Palm Springs wedding where the ceremony design was the star of the show. Even so, the heart and intention behind this heavenly tribute is the real inspiration of today’s feature. We certainly have a feeling it looks just like this too!
